One of the strangest pieces of wedding advice I’ve run into lately sounds funny, but it is actually a great piece of advice for any bride getting ready to walk down the aisle.
The advice was simply, “Put your thumbs in your bellybutton”. Meaning, when you are holding your bouquet and walking down the aisle, don’t hold your flowers too high because not only will it look stupid, but it will also obscure your beautiful dress! So hold your bouquet in your hands and press your thumbs in toward your bellybutton so that you are holding your bouquet in a relaxed way but not too high that you look like a mannequin.
I practiced this today, and I’ve gotta say…it works!
